Fixed monthly fees agreed up front — what you see is what you pay. No hourly meters, no add-ons at year end, no quote-vs-invoice gap. Final quote confirmed within 24 hours of your free 15-minute call.
Why Fixed Fees
Most UK accountancy firms quote on hourly rates that quietly inflate at year end. We do the opposite. Every engagement is priced as a flat monthly fee, agreed in writing before any work starts. The fee covers preparation and filing of your returns, HMRC liaison, ongoing portal access, and the standard four-year prior-return refund review for new clients. Project work — complex one-offs, HMRC enquiries, incorporation, multi-year arrears — is quoted separately as a fixed project fee so the monthly never changes.
The prices below are starting fees. Your exact fee depends on complexity: number of properties, complexity of CIS records, number of payslips per month, whether bookkeeping is included. You will have a written fixed quote within twenty-four hours of your free fifteen-minute consultation.
Full SA100 tax return for sole traders, freelancers, high earners and anyone with non-PAYE income. Includes expense review, payments on account, plain-English explanation before filing.
Self-Assessment details →For active sole traders running a business. Includes annual accounts, full self-assessment return, expense maximisation and ongoing bookkeeping guidance throughout the year.
Sole trader details →SA100 with property pages, Section 24 modelling, replacement of domestic items relief, MTD readiness. Larger portfolios and HMOs quoted on consultation.
Landlord details →CIS deduction reconciliation, full SA100, expense maximisation and refund claim. Most subcontractors are owed money — we file the return that gets it back.
CIS subcontractor details →Monthly CIS300 returns, subcontractor verification, materials apportionment, and full reconciliation against HMRC records. Filed on time, every month.
CIS contractor details →Statutory annual accounts, corporation tax return (CT600), confirmation statement, director's self-assessment, salary/dividend planning and Companies House filings — all included.
Limited company details →Quarterly VAT returns under Making Tax Digital, scheme review (cash vs accrual vs flat rate), and HMRC liaison. Bookkeeping add-on available where transaction volume warrants it.
VAT details →Full payroll service for small teams: payslips, RTI submissions to HMRC, pension auto-enrolment compliance, P60s and P11Ds. Priced from a baseline that scales with team size.
Payroll details →Optional add-on for clients who want their books kept current month-to-month rather than reconstructed at year end. Particularly recommended for VAT-registered businesses and growing limited companies.
Bookkeeping details →All prices shown are starting fees, exclusive of VAT. Your exact fixed monthly fee is confirmed in writing within 24 hours of your free fifteen-minute consultation — and once agreed, it is the price you pay for the year.
Included in Every Engagement
Your monthly fee is agreed in writing before any work starts. No hourly billing creep, no extras at year end. The number on the quote is the number you pay.
The accountant who scopes your case is the accountant who files your return. No call centres, no juniors, no churn.
For every new client, we review the last four years of returns to identify missed expenses and overpayment opportunities. Most new clients receive a refund in the first month.
Documents move through a secure encrypted portal, not email. Bank statements, P60s, CIS statements and any other sensitive material stays protected.
We deal with HMRC for you. Agent authorisation, penalty appeals, enquiry responses, repayment chases — all included in the monthly fee.
Your return is explained back to you before it is filed. You should finish every conversation clearer than you started — not more confused.
